1. Cleaning

  • Remove cranks, chain, freewheel/drive cogs and clean in solvent;
  • Clean wheels
  • Clean frame
     
     
2. Inspect
  • Inspect frame and forks for damage
  • Inspect rotating joints for excessive wear
  • Inspect tires for signs of failure
     
     
 3. Lubricate
  • Freewheels
  • Chain
  • Derailleur pulleys and joints
  • Downtube shifter levers
  • Sidepull brake arbor bolt
  • Cables guides
     
     
4. Adjust
  • Brakes (tightness, pad toe-in, centering)
  • Derailleurs (limit stops, indexing)
  • Adjust bottom bracket
  • Adjust headset
  • Adjust hubs
  • Tighten and adjust all controls, accessories
  • Check tire pressure.
     
     
 5. Wheels
  • True wheels
  • Check dishing

Quick Tune Up - $20.00

Inspect all systems for proper functionality and safe operation.  Includes minor adjustments of the brakes and derailleurs, as well as airing tires and lubrication.
